Roxie (revisited)

I wasn't totally happy after seeing this painting of Roxie after I posted it. So, I've been tweaking it here and there with small detail changes like: brightening her eyes, fixing her fur, taking off a shadow near her snout. I'm liking it now and can finally put it down.

Beautiful. Great cropping! I notice a lot I want to change about a picture once I get it on the blog too.

Hi Cheryl,
I REALLY like how your paintings are now the sole focus of our attention (without the wooden frames).

This is my first time seeing "Roxie" and you have captured the spirit of this dog so beautifully! The eyes draw us into her/his personality. The snout looks velvety, and the whiskers are the perfect detail. I also like how believable the fur is...in other words, very well done!!! Talk to you again soon.
