"These Boots Were Made For..."

10"x8" oil on canvas panel (in progress)

The top photo is a reshoot of the boots in my new photo taking area. The photo came out much better. I'm still working on them, they're fun to paint. Hopefully the next time I post them they'll be done and can give the scoop behind these boots and what they were made for.

Cheryl, I hope we can meet someday, we like to paint the same things, I think we must have a lot in common. I really enjoyed seeing all the things you've done since I last checked in. I have added you to my google reader page so I won't get so far behind!

Seeing your boots reminds me of one of the first drawings my husband did in college, there is just a story to be told there, but not so much in words, much better when painted! :)

Hi Emm, thanks for stopping by and letting me know you have a boot story! I won't disappoint you once this painting is finished and can give you the whole story. Amazing, I think!

I, too, agree we have a lot in common and it would be awesome to meet you as well! I'm sure our paths will cross some day, sooner than we expect. Until then, you'll hear only great things about your paintings from me! :)
