"Chelsea"

8"x6" oil on canvas panel - SOLD

This is a commission I just finished for my neighbor. Chelsea is an Australian Shephard. She's a beautiful dog! I really enjoyed painting this, as this painting literally flowed off my paint brush. I wish they all would do that. I have a little bit more tweaking to do, like adding a few more fine hairs around the muzzle.

Cheryl,
Scott turned me on to your blog. I love the new short hair cut, very stylish! The first picture of Chelsea the dog is amazing, I originally thought it was a photograph until I read the blog under it. The picture of Bugs the cat on your desk is adorable. Gloria loved the painting of the boxing gloves. Girl, you definitely have a great gift. Love your blog, quite frankly, I was very impressed with it. I will be visiting it often. Take Care and I miss you.

I'm Shelly's (Chelsea's mom) sister-in-law. Love the painting! Thank you for showing your works in progress, very inspiring to my 9 year old, Brianna, who is our family artist.
