"Twisted"

15"x30" oil on canvas - in progress

This is a much better photo than the last. I finished the starry night and even added a shooting star. I'm thinking the bottom area is missing something, maybe another branch. I thought about adding a black crow but my daughter made a face, that's what I get from talking out loud.

Van Gogh, I think, would be impressed with your beautiful version of his "Starry Night."

Thank you, anonymous!!! I do appreciate that awesome compliment!! It's been a wild, but fun painting to paint this week. I feel like the branches are my brain thoughts, going every which way!! Ever feel like that? But,then there's the hope from the wish from a shooting star...I know a creative mind can be very scary! Thanks for visiting!!

Patrick, thanks for identifying yourself. That's one of the reasons I love to paint, to captivate the viewer so they create their own story!! I still remember those cold January nights. They're not here so much, cool, but not frozen!
