I just finished another 6x8 oil on canvas panel. I'm considering this one for my daughter's school auction or I might paint something larger for it. I did, however, had difficulty capturing the highlights on the wood. It's working better but I think I need to practice reflections.Monday, January 14, 2008

I really like the composition of this piece, and the flower is lovely...great color and delicacy in the blooms.
Just wondering if you have ever thought of posting your paintings without the frame around them? I think it would show off your work better. For me, the wooden frame tends to overpower the delicacy of the painting...just wondering.
I never thought of that, I'll give that a try. I so appreciate your comments and suggestions.
